Punita received her Juris Doctorate with Honors from the George Washington University Law School, where she was a member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Board, Mock Trial Board, and The George Washington University Law Review. She also served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Judge Deborah Israel in the Domestic Relations Branch of the D.C. Superior Court where she gained insight into the review of family law matters from the perspective of the bench.

Punita brings a trauma-informed perspective to her practice, shaped by her work assisting survivors of domestic violence in seeking temporary restraining orders. Her background in accounting and intellectual property law also provides a strong foundation for addressing complex financial and asset-related issues that arise in family law matters. Dedicated to both compassion and thoroughness, Punita is committed to guiding clients through difficult transitions with practical solutions, zealous advocacy, and a focus on achieving lasting resolutions.
