Olivia E. Olson is a family law attorney representing clients in complex divorce, custody, and domestic violence matters throughout Southern California. Olivia is deeply committed to providing compassionate and effective legal representation and advocating for her clients. She previously worked with the firm as a summer associate and law clerk and externed for the Honorable Amy Pellman at the Los Angeles County Superior Court, gaining valuable insight into how judges assess family law cases. Her commitment to vulnerable families is informed by prior work with immigrant and domestic violence advocacy organizations in Washington, D.C., and abroad. Olivia earned her J.D. from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, and her B.A. in International Affairs from The George Washington University, and she is admitted to practice in California. What motivates you to work in your field?
I am deeply motivated by the opportunity to help people navigate some of the most challenging and emotional times in their lives. It’s rewarding to know that my work can bring stability and peace of mind, especially when emotions are running high.
How can your representation make a difference?
My representation can make a significant difference by offering not only legal expertise but also empathy and understanding of my clients’ unique situations. By offering tailored solutions that consider both the legal and emotional aspects, I help clients feel empowered and informed, guiding them through their journey with confidence.
What value do you deliver to clients?
My clients benefit from a blend of my knowledge, individualized attention, and unwavering dedication to their best interests. I take the time to hear what my clients need, make the legal process understandable, and develop plans that safeguard their rights while avoiding needless confrontation.
Do you have siblings?
No, I don’t have siblings. Being an only child has given me a unique perspective on family dynamics and helped me develop a deep understanding of the value of close, supportive relationships.
What is your favorite book, movie, or TV show?
My favorite TV show is Succession. I am captivated by the mix of drama, dark humor, and power struggles.
Favorite Pastime?
My favorite pastime is watching sports. Having grown up in Los Angeles, I am a die-hard Dodgers and Lakers fan.
What inspires you?
I find inspiration in those who rise above difficulties and endure hardship. When I work with clients who are going through tough times but are resilient, I am motivated to do everything in my power to help them succeed. Another thing that inspires me is the chance to make a difference in someone’s life, especially in the family context, whether that means assisting a parent in obtaining custody of their children or helping a client start over after a divorce.
