LOS ANGELES – Meyer, Olson, Lowy & Meyers (MOLM) proudly announces that partner, Benjamin Valencia II, has been certified as a Family Law Specialist by the Board of Legal Specialization of the State Bar of California. Just 0.55 percent of the State’s more than 260,000 attorneys have achieved this prestigious distinction, which requires successfully completing a demanding specialists’ examination and demonstrating substantial experience including courtroom experience, continuing legal education and peer recognition.
Mr. Valencia, who focuses on litigation, joined MOLM in 2004 and was named partner in 2012. He earned his JD from Southwestern University School of Law and a B.S. in Political Science from UCLA. One of the rising stars in the Southern California legal community, he was also recently tapped to serve on the Los Angeles County Bar Association Executive Committee.
Other MOLM attorneys who have Board Certification as Family Law Specialists are founding partners Lisa Helfend Meyer and Doreen Marie Olson.
“Ben has proven himself a supremely skilled, tenacious and compassionate attorney handling the complex and challenging cases that our firm specializes in,” said Meyer. “We congratulate him on adding Board Certification to his list of professional accomplishments.”
