Ryan D. Wedeking
In his family law counsel, attorney Ryan D. Wedeking contributes to the success of our team representation of clients in complex and high-value marital dissolutions and asset divisions. While he earned his J.D. at the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law, Ryan founded the UCLA Family Law Society and served as its president. Ryan received the school's Martin C. Pachter Prize for excellence in family law.
Do you have a specialty within family law?
I especially enjoy working on complex property issues.
What do your clients care about most?
Being guided with a steady hand through a process that is necessarily life-changing.
What major challenges do you help clients manage?
I work mostly where the rubber meets the road in litigation—handling large and complex discovery projects, researching and writing legal briefs, and helping prepare the client for court appearances.
How can your representation make a difference?
Making sure that the client is well prepared. Preparation is 90% of the battle for most things in life, and I think that is certainly true in litigation.
What achievements/representations are you most proud of?
Getting a great result for the client when the legal issues have been challenging and complicated.

Where did you grow up?
The Pacific Northwest. I’m a Seattle native and attended Gonzaga University for undergrad in Spokane.

Playing competitive tennis.
