Attorney Nuha Alomar brings a range of experiences to her practice of family law.
She helps clients with their challenges in divorce, child custody, domestic violence and support agreements.
She offers a fresh and empathetic approach in her guidance of clients through every stage of litigation, including financial, legal and emotional issues that arise.
Concurrent to earning her J.D. at Chapman University's School of Law, Nuha gained experience as a clerk in several criminal law firms. She researched family law issues pertaining to custody, modification of settlement agreements and property disputes. She also performed legal research in the areas of real estate, trade and constitutional law.
Nuha served as a certified law clerk with the Bette and Wylie Aitkin Family Protection Clinic in Orange, CA. While there, her work included counseling and interviewing clients, preparing protective orders and hosting educational sessions for clients representing themselves in legal hearings.
How do you work with clients?
I work with clients on a personal level and use a hands-on approach to keep clients informed as to the status of their case at all times. I help break down the legal aspects of the case that may be difficult to understand.
What value do you deliver to clients?
As a young attorney, I have a fresh perspective to deliver to clients. I listen to clients and provide empathy through some of the most difficult life challenges they face, while aggressively advocating for the best outcome in their case.
What major challenges do you help clients manage?
I help with challenges relating to difficult life situations such as divorce, custody, domestic violence, support. I help clients through every step of the litigation, providing guidance regarding financial, legal and emotional aspects of their case. I try to give them advice as to what is in their best interest going into litigation, dealing with opposing parties, and complying with court orders.
What is your favorite part of your work?
My favorite part of my work is when I work with the team to resolve a case or an issue effectively for a client, and get them the resolution that is fair and in their best interest or the children’s best interest. Essentially, I love when we get a good outcome for a client.
I enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking, going to the beach, etc.
Favorite book or movie?
The book Invisible Man by Ralph Ellison.
Where did you grow up?
I grew up in Orange County with my four siblings and have lived here my whole life - except college.
